She couldn’t stop the tears that were rolling down her peach colored cheeks now. “I love you, you know? I’ve always loved you.” He said. She nodded. “Me too, I’ve always loved you too. And I always will!” A smile appeared on her face. She knew this would be the happiest moment of her life. “I want to marry you,” he said. She giggled. The expression on his beautiful face, the face she had studied and known for so long, was very serious. “I mean it, Steph. We are so perfect for each other.” She still wore the smile on her face. “What are you even saying? I’m too young.” But the thought of him and her together was something she could not forget. “You’re not! You’re almost seventeen, in a year you’ll be eighteen. Please tell me you would want to be my wife.” His eyes were begging her. They were the eyes of a man that was desperately in love. “I would,” she answered him. They kissed each other like only true lovers can and they felt like they didn’t have a single care in the world.
