hallo,

ik moet voor engels een essay inleveren. alleen ben ik helemaal niet goed in engels. zou iemand voor mij even willen kijken of mijn zinnen grammaticaal goed zijn?

het gaat over social networks

The emergence of social networks influence the real social life.
A social network is a site where people can make an account and where they have contact by the way of internet. Examples of social networks are hyves, facebook and twitter. Lately be social networks popular, especially under teenagers. Since they have internet on their phone do they nothing else. All the day they use their phone and are on the social networks. As a lot of teenagers I have a few social networks. I think it is very good for the real social life of teenagers because it is so easy to have contact with other people. But other people think that by the emergence of social networks teenagers even if they be with friends they use their phones. That is not very social.
Firstly people makes via social networks a lot of appointments and that is good for the real social life. Especially if you do not know the person so good and you have not any email or number then is it useful to have a social network.
The argument that teenager nothing else do than surf on the internet is nonsense. Maybe use some people there phone when they are with friends but that is not all of the time. Plus the fact that when they on the social networks they also have contact with other people. Unlike till if people play videogames. That is not well for the real social life.
What´s more that sometimes teenagers learn people know through the social networks in fact there are some relations started on the internet. In other words the social networks is well for maintain and get of new relations. An example is a friend of me. She had learn her boyfriend on hyves and there are now for more than a year together. They see each other about twice a week.
Finally since I have a social network I know more people and also I know how it is with that people. When I have not seen somebody for 3 years then I can search his social network and talk to him.
Social networks have a lot of benefits. I think that when I have no twitter or hyves my life was a lot lesser social then it is now.

Ik heb even snel de meest duidelijke foutjes verbeterd, maar qua zinsopbouw is er nog behoorlijk wat mis. Voor de rest heb ik niet zoveel verstand van tijden, dus het kan zijn dat ik sommige dingetjes over het hoofd heb geslagen.
Nogmaals, het is snel nagekeken, dus er kunnen nog wat fouten in zitten.

Ik heb een tip voor je: Probeer het Nederlands los te laten. Nederlands is geen Engels… Ik zie veel zinnen die je gewoon letterlijk, woordje voor woordje, vertaald hebt, maar dat klopt vaak niet. De zinsopbouw is anders in het Engels. :wink:
Niet lullig bedoeld hoor, gewoon een advies.

Nowadays social networks seem to be very popular, especially among teenagers. Many people use internet on their phones. As a result of that, they will use facebook or hyves on their phones as well. All day long they use their phones to be online as often as possible. Just like many other teenagers, I created an account for some social networks. I think it has a positive influence on teenagers’ real social life because it is a very easy way to stay in touch with other people. Others think it negatively influences people’s social life. Teenagers who use facebook or any other social network on their phones tend to be more interested in facebook, even when they are with their friends.

Many people believe it is an easy way to make appointments, especially when you don’t know a person that well. When you don’t have one’s phone number or email, facebook can be a good way to make appointments.

People may say that teenagers won’t do anything but surfing on the internet and so their social lives will be negatively influenced. I think this is not a valid argument. (Je tegenargument is sowieso niet echt goed, dus ik pas hem even aan) Most people only use it when it’s necassary. When you can’t be with someone, it is a good way to stay in touch. They will be able to meet more people, from all over the world. That way you can improve, for example, your English or French and it can be the beginning of an everlasting friendship.

Apart from friendships, there is a possibility that you get to know your partner on the internet. People tend to be less shy, so it would be easier for them to send a message to the person they think might be intersting. It’s a good way to get in touch with people you wouldn’t look at on the streets. A friend of mine met her boyfriend on hyves and they are together for more than a year now. They see each other twice a week and they are still very happy. Without social networks, they probably would never have met each other.

Because of those social networks, I came to know many people and I am able to ask whether they are doing fine or not. When you haven’t seen someone for years, it is easier for you to send a message and maybe even meet each other again. I believe it to be true that I would not have as many contacts as I have now if I wouldn’t use twitter and facebook.

bedankt voor de mensen die er naar hebben gekeken! en ja ik weet dat ik echt heel slecht ben in engels anders vraag ik ook geen hulp. ik heb heel ergstig dyslexie en bij mij op school wordt er echt heel slecht engels gegeven.
even ter info ik zit al in 5 gymnasium en ik sta een 3 op engels. ik doe er echt heel erg me best voor maar het lukt gewoon niet! De rest van de vakken doe ik echt helemaal niks voor en sta ik ook heel goed op. alleen dit is echt een ramp voor mij en ik vind het ook echt heel kut want ik heb het idee dat ik zo nooit ga slagen.

gymnasium 5 en zo slecht engels, nee sorry hier is geen excuus voor, hoe slecht je docent ook is.
mijn docenten waren ook mokerslecht, maar je kan jezelf ook heel veel engels leren.
