^My best friend used to bite her nails too. I promised her, that if she didn't bite a month, I would buy her lots of candy. And fortunately for her, it helped!

^Byte-X! God, I hated that stuff. All my bread tasted like Byte-X, awful!
And it didn't even work: as soon as I stopped using Byte-X, I started biting my nails all over again;P

I've been biting my nails since for ever. My nails look like shit.
And my boyfriend can't stand the sound of me biting so he always gets irritated when I do it. I want to stop, but on the other hand I think, smoking would be a lot worse. So I think its not a very bad bad habit :p

Yeah I have that problem too! But when my nails are painted, I don't bite them as much as when they are not. maybe that helps?

Haha bite x hasn't worked for me at all, i still bite.. not as much as i used to do it though.. Its just way more easier then cutting you nails :')

I always talk in English with my best friend, because it's an awesome language, so now i thought: i might as well join you guys, to improve my English (:

I was biting my nails too! After a few years i quit doing that, but now when i'm really stressfull i don't bite nails, but the skin next to my nails. Now i got all this little wounds over there, and it really hurts!
Sorry for complaining, haha.

Does someone else have a good story?

I'm glad I don't have to go to school.. yet. Hopefully this day will be over soon because I want my holidays! It's just that I'm fet up with school.. I had to go from 4VWO to 4HAVO this year and now I'm the oldest of my class. I'm almost 18 years old and the rest of them aren't even 16 years old yet. x)
But some of them are nice, I have to admit. I'm not regretting meeting them because the hand full students I like are really funny too. It's just that I miss my old friends who went to 5VWO..
My grades are good so next year will definitely be 5HAVO. (:

Hello everyone! My English has to improve, it just has to. I got a 9 on my reading test, but only a 6.5 on my fluency. I read a lot, and watch a lot of English movies and series, but I just never speak it myself. So well, I hope this'll help a bit. Tomorrow I'm having a math test. It's about 5 chapters and I haven't even started yet. I'm also having a German test, so tonight's gonna be so much fun. I guess this is my way of paying for all those times I didn't do my coursework. Bummer right? I just wanna go to bed and stay there for a couple months. Watch movies, series, read a lot.. yes I think that'll work just perfect for me.

^Ah same here! I am raised bilingual, so English is no problem for me too. I really hate to talk Dutch, ugly language. Bah haha! I prefer speaking English, but my friends aren't that good in it, shame!

Well, let me introduce myself.
My name is Charlotte and I'm 14 years old. I live in the centre of the Netherlands, near by Amersfoort and Utrecht. I love to draw, go jogging, read et cetera. I usually think in English or French.
When I make mistakes, I really would appreciate it if someone wants to tell me.

As an au pair? That's the main reason why I'm doing cambridge at my school. Are you searching family's on your own or are you with some kind of organisation ? Yess, indeed! it is so hard! All those nouns and verbs, ugggh I hate them haha.
